Meeting & pickup
Meeting district is confirmed after dietary review; common routes use Karaköy, Eminönü, Kadıköy or another food-rich area. Ferry or transit fares may be separate.
Tickets
No attraction ticket is normally required. Food spending is either paid directly per stop or included through a clearly stated allowance—check your confirmation.
Duration & walking
Usually 3.5–4.5 hours and 2–4 km of walking, with standing at some small venues.
Suitability & accessibility
Suitable for curious eaters and adaptable families. Severe allergies, strict cross-contamination requirements and complex vegan/gluten-free combinations need advance discussion and may limit stops.
Payment, confirmation & cancellation
Your request is reviewed before it becomes a confirmed booking. Cash in EUR, USD, TRY or GBP is preferred; card payment at the office POS normally carries the bank’s approximately 5–7% processing fee. Unless your written quote states a stricter supplier term, cancellation at least 24 hours before service is refundable. Yacht, special vehicle, ticket and third-party activity bookings may have separate conditions, which are shown before payment.
No compulsory shopping—ever
There are no required carpet, leather, jewelry, spice or souvenir stops. A shop, market or workshop is included only when it is part of the advertised subject or you ask for it. You are always free to leave without buying.
Know before you go
- Menus and venues can change without notice.
- Tell us every allergy and religious/dietary restriction before confirmation.
- Shared kitchens cannot always guarantee zero cross-contamination.
- Arrive hungry, but do not skip medically necessary meals.

Are tastings included in the price?
Only if your booking confirmation explicitly says so. Otherwise you choose and pay directly, which keeps the route flexible.
Can you accommodate vegetarians?
Usually yes with advance notice. Vegan, gluten-free and allergy-sensitive routes require more careful planning.
Do we visit the Spice Bazaar?
It can be included on some routes, but there is no required shop or purchase.
Is alcohol served?
Not by default. Any alcoholic tasting must be requested and confirmed separately.
