Meet in Sultanahmet
Meet at an agreed Old City landmark or request central-hotel pickup where practical.
Discover the essential monuments and stories of Sultanahmet with your own licensed private guide.

A focused private introduction to Sultanahmet for guests who want the essential monuments without committing to a full day. Your licensed guide connects the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman layers while adjusting the order around prayer times, official opening hours and the pace of your party.
This is a guide-only walking tour. A vehicle is normally unnecessary inside Sultanahmet because the principal Old City sites are close together.
Admission tickets, meals, transport and personal expenses are separate. A private vehicle can be quoted for distant hotels or specific mobility needs.
Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and the Basilica Cistern are visually impressive, but their real value lies in the events, beliefs and people behind them. Your licensed guide connects the Byzantine, Ottoman and modern layers so the monuments become one coherent Istanbul story.
Mandatory security checks and official visitor rules always apply.
The sequence is flexible and may change for traffic, weather, prayer times, official closures and your group’s pace.

The easiest meeting point is in Sultanahmet. Central-hotel meeting may be possible; hotels far from the Old City can require a vehicle supplement. The tour is mainly on foot.
Blue Mosque and Hippodrome access is free. Hagia Sophia visitor-area admission is not included. Ticket rules and official prices change. A licensed guide can assist with the applicable priority ticket process at Basilica Cistern and, when the official on-site cash-payment or guide-channel procedure is operating, at Hagia Sophia. Mandatory security checks still apply.
About 4 hours. Expect roughly 2–4 km of walking, stone paving, mosque shoe removal and some standing.
Best for first-time visitors and guests with limited time. Step-free routing is possible in parts of Sultanahmet, but historic surfaces and security entrances can slow wheelchairs; tell us your mobility needs before confirmation.
